We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Cash in US Currency, and Checks drawn on US Banks. All sales are final.

SiteSteward, Inc. is not responsible for the renewal of domains not paid for prior to the renewal date. If you do not pay for the domain renewal prior to the renewal date you run the risk of losing that domain name and you may be charged redemption fees by the registrar (not us) to keep the domain. We send renewal invoices out 3 months in advance prevent you from losing your domain name. Please see our detailed FAQ regarding domain renewals.

All fees are due upon completion of service if not stated otherwise.

In most cases, one half of the estimated fee for web development is due prior to starting a project. A second payment is due within 30 days upon approval of a digital layout. Additional time charges may apply for additional work requested or work that took longer to complete than originally estimated. You will be notified and must approve additional work prior to going over your original estimate.

A $30 late fee will be charged to an account for each past due invoice. This will be sent in PDF format to the email address we have on file for the account, along with a notice that states service to your web site(s) will be interrupted within 5 days if payment has not been received.

A setup fee of $20 will be charged to all accounts who's service has been interrupted.

A service charge of 1.5% of the remaining balance will be added monthly to all accounts with a balance due past 30 days.

There is a $35 service charge for all returned checks. If you have difficulty paying your invoice, please contact us to make payment arrangements. Please don't bounce a check.

Accounts past due 90 days or more are turned over to a collection agency and cancelled.

Web based email is a temporary email system for use when you not at your usual workstation (i.e. out of the office, away from home, on vacation, at the library, etc.). We recommend setting up an email client such Thunderbird, Outlook, Mail, Powermail, Eudora, etc. to manage email. You may lose email addresses, sent mail, mail filters etc. if your server is upgraded. Use of web mail is provided as a convenience tool and is to be used at your own risk.

Virtual Private Server (VPS) Terms

• If you have your own Virtual Private Server (VPS) then you are responsible for all aspects of the server. It is an Unmanaged Service. While your VPS has great flexibility and allows you to configure your server in many ways, the management of a VPS requires basic system administration skills. SiteSteward can provide complete management services based upon an hourly rate or monthly management contract above and beyond your monthly hosting service and this service can be added to your VPS subscription during signup. Do not assume you have a monthly management contract unless you have it in writing from SiteSteward.
• Any application installed on the VPS is not managed (even if you have a management contract) and you are responsible for ensuring ALL applications are up to date. Additionally you must configure your own firewall rules, or request assistance.
• Unless you have subscribed to a backup service and have an agreement in writing with SiteSteward, VPS backups remain the responsibility of the customer.

In an effort to serve you better and offer lower prices, we offer annual, semi-annual, quarterly and monthly hosting. There are additional fees for accounts not paid annually. We are able to obtain better pricing from our vendors when make our own purchases on an annual basis. We in turn can pass those savings on to you when your payment is made annually.

In making that commitment and getting the lower price which we pass on to you, we are not able to receive a refund from our vendors. They will however apply a credit to our account.

Since we are unable to receive a refund ourselves for long term commitments we also can not offer refunds if you decide to cancel your account early. We will credit your account for any unused hosting time you have paid for which you may apply to any other invoice you have with us.

We strongly recommend taking advantage of a shorter term agreement such as a monthly hosting if you are concerned about this policy. Please contact us directly with questions or concerns about our NO REFUND policy.

By The Use of our Web Hosting Services, Uploading your files to our server(s) and/or the use of our Email services you hereby agree to the terms of our "Accepted Usage and Content Policy" listed below:

1. Pornography - Due to legal and social issues, we will not accept any new customers who publish pornographic images. We do not allow any pornographic content on our server, including but not limited to nude photographs, explicit language, or sexual fiction. If an existing customer publishes pornographic images, SiteSteward, Inc. may issue a warning and/or suspend your account. Let's make this easy to understand: No site that promotes porn or nudity will be allowed on our servers, this includes BANNERS, CLICKER SITES, EDITORIALS, STORIES, NUDE PHOTOGRAPHS, EXPLICIT LANGUAGE, SEXUAL FICTION, OR ANYTHING THAT SiteSteward, Inc. DEEMS INAPPROPRIATE FOR OUR SERVERS. If an existing customer publishes pornographic images, SiteSteward, Inc. will remove that site from our server and all moneys paid will be forfeited.
2. Excessive Bandwidth Usage Bandwidth Usage over the allowance is billed at $20/10 Gigabytes or fraction thereof. Please check the allowance for your plan.
3. Bulk Email, Spam, or Unsolicited Mail Submissions- NO DOMAIN MAINTAINED BY SiteSteward, Inc. will be permitted to submit BULK EMAIL or UNSOLICITED EMAIL of any type. This includes but not limited to using our Email server or any other BULK EMAIL submission service, i.e. Cyber Promotions. This includes but is not limited to the use of the Domain Name or an Email Address for the Domain Name in the actual Bulk Email. If we receive a complaint on a BULK EMAIL from a Domain maintained on our servers, the account we be subject to suspension and/or cancellation without notice.
4. Due to Legal & Liability issues we do not host WAREZ sites or sites that promote the use of or supply directly or links to serial numbers of Unlicensed Software.
