SiteSteward™ DIY Capability Tour

How does it work?

• First we set you up with access to SiteSteward and update your pages to add the DIY Capability.

• Second we move your content into our system where you can preview your pages with DIY Capability.

• Then when you approve your new DIY pages we make them live on the site. You can then log into SiteSteward, go to the DIY section, pick the page you want to edit and then make your changes.

It really is that simple. Think about it, you do not have to know how to build the TV in order to turn it on and change the channels, why should you have to know how to build a web site in order to make changes. Most people don't buy cars so they can tinker under the hood. They just want to put gas in and go!

Stop paying your web developer drive you around. Take control of your web site. Get in the drivers seat, change it yourself and keep the money!

I still have questions such as...
Do I need my current web developer for anything?

It is up to you. From our point of view we would rather you not continue using your current developer unless they are a certified SiteSteward Developer and know how to work with the DIY code that is going to be in your web pages.

It really is not fair to expect your current developer to know how to work with our proprietary system. We want to prevent the awkward situation from occurring where one developer blames the other for something that is not right.

By having a SiteSteward Certified DIY Developer maintain the structure of your web site, all responsibility lies with them to make sure everything functions the way you expect it to.

Are there any special requirements to get setup?

Yes. If you are not on our servers we need to move your site. We know our servers inside out. They are our responsibility to maintain. We don't work on other vendors servers. Once your site is on our fast, linux servers we can add DIY Capability.

Suppose I don't want to move?

Then ask your current host or developer for SiteSteward™ DIY Capability. Have them contact us for more information. They can reach us weekdays from 9 AM - 5 PM Eastern Time (GMT - 5) at (585) 647-1101. Ultimately we will need to have your files on our servers so we may ensure quality. We want your experience to be a positive one.
